MESSAGE FROM BISHOP D. KAGANGA

BISHOP DICKSON KAGANGA , HIS WIFE AND CHURCH MEMBERS

My theme was the problem faces the body of Christ today in which some ministers are almost demanding to be worshiped....
The Bible portray the church as the "bride" whereby Jesus is the "groom"
Now, in Jewish culture this was well known ideology. When a Jewish young man was engaged to a woman... It was custom for them to leave and go far to work and earn money as preparation to get married. When a bride goes - he trust one of his close friend to take care her. One of the duties of a friend was to encourage the bride.... "Don't worry, I know my friend, he is faithful and hard working person... He will definitely return..."
Problems:1. Some friends were unfaithful and TRAITORS. Instead of speaking for the bride they spoke for themselves... "Look how much I care, It is me who is doing this and that for you..."
2. Some brides forgot to think of the groom and started to give focus to a friend....
My fellow leaders.... Jesus says that he has gone but he will come again (John 14:2, 3). Therefore, let's glorify God. Let's tell our people that we are just friends of Jesus... We are not the grooms....
Members, we may do a lot in your life, but let's our focus be in Jesus (Heb. 12:3)
